| After the
detection of a jejunal carcinoid tumor by means
of a gamma graphy with Octreotid extirpated the
intestinal injury with the help of an intra operating
sounding.
In the image the hepatic metastasis of the tumor
are that can, after the complete resection, to
continue with the treatment by means of an orthotropic
transplant of liver.
The octreotid is an analog of the somatostatin
marked with a radioactive isotope that emits gamma
radiation able to be detected by gamma camera,
whenever the cells of the tumor express receptors
for the same one.
